Hello, here i am again, after a long dry spurt of not creating dollies. Im sure we've all been there, but i know you'll agree when i say, "I just don't want to be here". with feeling reminiscent of childhood, and throwing a fit. So here I am, a bit late, in trying to rekindle my creative bone. I think usually the desire to start creating hits right about September, if i remember correctly. Last night, i sold 2 dolls, a little rag doll, more primitive than not, and an Izannah Walker type doll, with the help of friends. I was very suprised and elated that people still love my creations. Im hoping it sparks a creative-ness, and gives me an umph! or like a friend says, 'A good old fashioned kick in the pants'! Hehe I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, most especially good health and cheer. Much love, Jackie

This Dollie is finished
Hello everyone , finally finished w/ this sweet babe. She is 18 inches tall, please forgive my poor photos, lighting is bad. I wish i had a doll stand to put her on , to take pictures. Not sure of her name, but she will be traveling to the U.K. soon. She will taking the clothes she has on and her hornbook, to study her alphabets during travel. I hope her trip goes smoothly.
Many Regards,
Jackie

Hello everyone, just a short note on my slow progress..., This dollie is finally getting dressed! I have chose this beautiful old floral cotton weave, which i had those might be too overwhelming in thickness and color, but I guess not. I sure hope everyone on the East Coast of the USA are safe and sound in their warm beds, with their old fashioned bed warmers and a fire in the fireplace...or perhaps something more modern, but anyway, safe and sound and warm. I did final get my mold done, and its fabulous, but not using it yet for my actual dollies, as i want to try making dolls the old school way, like Izannah herself did. Here is a pic of the fabric on the doll, but not exactly how the dress is right now.
Many Hugs,
Jackie
