Here is a WIP, I kinda like her, but she's still missing that " Izzyiness " that i have been trying to capture. Not sure on her dress color, yet. Dixie sent me some beautiful burnt orange Thimbleberry print , maybe i'll use that? Hmmm? I can see a few changes i need to make...like the black lines in her hair, that you can't see otherwise? Crazy....Back to the drawing board....
Many Doll hugs,
Jackie
Here she is after i gave her more eyelids...

Thanks so very Much Vista Gal!!!!!!!!!

Jackie - she is beautiful. I need to come up with a better word, 'cuz I'm repeating myself. How about this. She is gentle and honest and straightforward just as she is. Leave her alone. She looks like an early American folk portrait. I love her. Sometimes painting burnt umber over black gives an interesting effect.
Well, I think she's the epitome of 'Izzyness'! She's absolutely perfect!
Jackie I think she is beautiful!

Kelly

You make such beautiful dolls. I know how hard it is to get that clean, smooth face.
Your work is spectacular.

This is so true, i think alot of people are finding this out too. It takes alot of water...in small amounts, time and patience, i was born w/o the later one!!!! Yikes! Thank You so very much!
